The retina is the inner lining at the back of the eye which is responsible for our vision and works like the film in a camera. The vitreous body is a transparent gel-like substance which fills most of the eyeball behind the colored iris. These areas are involved in diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal detachment, flashes & floaters, injuries, as well as many other problems.
